Finally, we have a playable version of FIXXER’s Isle of Man mod! I always wanted to ride IOM in this wonderful game and was let down when I discovered the original mod was too big to work in GPB. But recently, I thought it might be possible to get around the shaking problem in the original mod by dividing the track into segments. I reached out to FIXXER, he agreed, gave me the mod to work on, and now we have those segments! So, if you don’t mind waiting for loading time between sectors, you can ride the best motorcycle track in the world in the best motorcycle game in the world.

Sectors:

• Sector 1: Creg ny Baa -> Glen Helen
  
• Sector 2: Glen Helen -> Ballaugh
• Sector 3: Ballaugh -> Gooseneck
• Sector 4: Gooseneck -> Creg ny Baa

(The start of the first sector is a little weird, at Creg ny Baa, but it was just how things worked out to minimize shaking in all four sectors.)

I’d like to give a huge thank you to FIXXER for letting me edit his mod and for giving me creative freedom with this project!

Be sure to check back occasionally for updates because I’d like to do much more with the mod. In the near future, you can expect updates with:

• barriers blocking the ends of sectors to prevent falling through the map
• extended runoffs at some slow corners where realistic, like Ballacraine and Parliament Square
• edits to corners changed in the real circuit, like Windy and Brandish
• narrowing of some corners, such as the Nook and Governor’s Dip
• red and white bag barriers for improved visibility
• less necessary content cut to improve loading time and reduce texture flashing/clipping

As mentioned in the comments, I also plan to make a “folded” version of the track with each sector essentially placed on top of each other with ramps or spirals up and down to the other sectors. This would be a separate version for people who’d rather run the track that way instead of loading each sector.
