Description
ABOUT
The Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez is a historic circuit located in the Magdalena Mixhuca public park in Mexico City. The track was built in 1962 and originally named after the district, but was tragically renamed after the deaths of Mexico’s two racing heroes, brothers Ricardo (1962) and Pedro Rodríguez (1971). The circuit first hosted the Formula One Mexican Grand Prix in 1963 and has had two major periods on the F1 calendar: the first from 1963 to 1970, and the second from 1986 to 1992. After a third extensive renovation, the track made its successful return in 2015, capitalizing on its unique atmosphere and historical significance as one of motorsport’s classic venues. But we are here for the real stuff, not 4 wheeled aberrations.
THE LAYOUT
The current Grand Prix Circuit is a 4.304 km (2.674 miles) layout featuring 17 turns and is defined by its extreme operating altitude of over 2,200 meters (7,300 ft) above sea level. This thin air provides one of the lowest downforce, but i don’t think GPB simulates that does it? The circuit’s most iconic and unique feature is the final sector, which runs through the baseball stadium’s grandstands..

Thanks a lot to the GPBikes discord for the help!!
This is a conversion from an AC track. I mainly changed some textures and optimized the mesh (down more than 50% of polys) for GPB.
