ABOUT

KymiRing is a motorsport complex located in Kausala, Iitti, in Finland, approximately 110 kilometers (68 miles) north-east of the capital, Helsinki. It was conceived in the late 2000s to host major international motorsport events, aiming to bring World Championship racing back to Finland. After construction began in 2016, the circuit officially opened in 2019, having been designed to meet the elite FIM Grade A (MotoGP) and FIA Grade 2 standards. Although it secured a five-year contract to host the Finnish MotoGP, financial challenges prevented the event from taking place. The facility was acquired by new ownership in 2024, who are committed to its future development. (I guess we’ll see)

LAYOUT

The main track is a highly technical, 4.5 km (2.8 miles) layout featuring 21 corners. The track is characterized by its significant undulations as it follows the natural terrain. A key feature is the 1.1 km (0.68 miles) main straight, which is among the longest on the European Grand Prix calendar.

This is a conversion from an AC track. I mainly changed some textures and optimized the mesh for GPB.

I’ll add marshalls and camera in 1.0. It’ll come once i got more experience making tracks. (soon don’t worry)
