This release marks the first entry in DBM Modding’s Superbike project for GP Bikes, featuring a fully developed maxhines built with a strong emphasis on physics accuracy and riding authenticity.

The primary objective of this project has been to push GP Bikes’ physics engine to its limits. Development has spanned several years, with extensive research, iterative testing, and continuous refinement of core parameters including chassis geometry, mass distribution, suspension behavior, drivetrain characteristics, and tire interaction. Every adjustment has been made with the goal of delivering a believable, communicative riding experience rather than simply maximizing performance.

The 2009 Season was selected for its balance of raw mechanical character and competitive Superbike performance, as well as having a near full field of manufacturers. This mod aims to replicate the demanding yet rewarding nature of a late-2000s litre-class race machine — requiring precise throttle control, disciplined braking technique, and smooth rider inputs to extract its full potential.

This is not a casual or simplified interpretation of a superbike. The physics model is designed to reflect realistic behavior under braking, corner entry, mid-corner load transfer, and corner exit drive. Riders can expect machines that respond dynamically to setup changes and riding style.

This release represents the foundation of the DBM Modding Superbike pack, with future additions planned under the same philosophy of technical depth and simulation accuracy.
